Dear Parents,

It is time for us to begin working on our Children’s Christmas Program!  I am so excited about this year’s musical!  It is entitled “Joyland.”  It is a play about showing Jesus’ love through giving to those in need… especially at Christmas!  We get to dress as toys!  FUN!!

There is one BIG change in the practice schedule for this year’s musical:  We will be doing all rehearsals on SUNDAY evenings.    We are hoping this will not discourage anyone from participating!  Having a Sunday evening rehearsal will give us much more time for practicing dances, blocking, lines, etc.  WE WILL BEGIN THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7TH AT 6:30 IN THE SANCTUARY!     I will have music cds ready and we will talk about costumes and plans for the show!  We will meet for only about 30 minutes and then go home and start listening to the music and get ready for the following Sunday.   

Please let me know if you cannot get your child to rehearsals on Sundays.  We will work something out so that everyone who wants to participate can be there! 

Again, I am so excited about this new show and a new rehearsal time!  I look forward to working and singing and worshipping with your child through this wonderful musical experience!
